Hello everyone! I figured I'd make an announcement about the .mod scale and .mod displayid commands.
First off, scale:
- No overscaling or underscaling. Scale range is still .9 - 1.1. This is to avoid hugely overscaled P/C's.
- Scale variations are only okay under the following circumstances: The character is in adolescence or the morph/class/race used calls for it.
Display ID's:
- No using morphs that don't make sense for your character and absolutely no use of lore character morphs in any situation for any reason, ever. Don't even ask about it.
I know everyone wants a really short or really huge character but it really just isn't plausible. Some might make the counterargument: "But it's possible to be huge! It might be rare but my character can be among that small percentage!" or "My character has been intensely training for years to get like this!" We get this, and it is completely true. However, if we allow this then everyone will be overscaled -- which is exactly what we're trying to avoid in the first place by setting boundaries.
I hope we can all agree on this. It would certainly make it a lot easier.
Regards,
- Rakos
